Hilltop Campsites : Site #2
Site #2 is set a little further in to the woods, just behind Site #1. This site has a larger gravel area for vehicles, a firepit, picnic table, and space for 2 tents. Since these sites are right at the top of the paved driveway and close together they are great for groups that know each other. If booked individually, be aware that you WILL see and hear the campers from the other site. Our Hilltop campers all love that they are close to the lodge facilities and amenities. 4WD is NOT necessary to access the Hilltop sites.
Mountain Bikers and Hikers will LOVE the easy access to DuPont State Forest. Ride out of your campsite and into the park in minutes.
Our Hilltop Sites are easily accessed via the paved driveway so 4WD is NOT necessary to reach them. They are a little less private than the Pond sites as they are in the woods right at the top driveway, but guests love how close they are to the Lodge amenities. These sites are right next to each other so they are greatfor groups who want to stay close. Each site has a picnic table and firepit.
Hilltop lodge amenities include a hot water outdoor shower, hot tub, firepit area, and an enclosed patio where you are welcome to relax, eat, and enjoy the view. A restroom with flush toilet is accessible from the porch, and we now have a second FULL BATH (with shower) as well.
